Iyengar yoga is characterised by great attention to detail and precise alignment of the postures.
Through the regular practice of Iyengar yoga your body will become more balanced, strong and supple.
What to Wear
Loose comfortable clothing:shorts T-shirt, tights, leotard etc.
Food
It is best not to have eaten a heavy meal within 3 hours prior to class, a light snack 1 hour before is fine.
You will feel much better if you follow these guidelines
Illness-Injuries etc.
In certain cases some poses are contra-indicated, so please inform your teacher before class if you are unwell or if you are menstruating or pregnant.
If you are experiencing any kind of pain eg back, neck, knee pain etc High blood pressure or any other health concerns
The Classes.
In so-far-as-possible, we ask of you to stay with your chosen classes.
With consistent attendance it is more possible for us as teachers to progress and evolve the class as a whole.
We offer regular on-going classes from beginners through to experienced students.
We offer early morning intensives' and workshops regularly through-out the year

She has been teaching Iyengar yoga for over 28 years and is a fully qualified senior teacher.
